Booking and payment

The fine print, in plain words.

Booking. New clients book their first Spa Day online as a guest. No card is needed to hold your appointment.

Payment. You pay in person after the groom with a debit or credit card, Apple Cash, Venmo, Zelle, or Cash App. Prices do not include North Carolina sales tax, which is based on your county. Tips are never required, but greatly appreciated.

Rescheduling and cancelling. Please reschedule or cancel at least 48 hours before your appointment. Changes inside 48 hours are handled case by case, so call 919-438-3346 as soon as you know.

Being home. Someone needs to be home for the whole groom, so we can hand your dog back to you and check in if we have a question along the way.

Vaccine records. Records are not required, but we strongly recommend sharing them when you book.

Extended Travel. Homes more than 15 minutes’ drive from Seaboard Station in downtown Raleigh include an Extended Travel fee of $6.99 to $14.99, based on drive time.

Matted coats. Note any matting when you book. Matted coats add a de-matting upcharge of $20 to $100, depending on the matting level, which we confirm with you at the van before we start. Heavily matted coats may need a short clip-down for your dog’s comfort and safety.

Dogs only. We groom dogs only, always.

Running late. If your pup isn’t ready within 15 minutes of your appointment time, we may need to shorten the groom or reschedule so the next family isn’t kept waiting.

Weather. The van is climate controlled, so rain and summer heat don’t stop a Spa Day. For ice, snow, or severe storms, we’ll reach out to reschedule at no charge.

Safety first. If your dog becomes too stressed or unsafe to groom, we’ll stop, talk with you, and decide the next step together. Your dog’s well-being always comes before finishing the groom.

Gift cards. Gift cards never expire and never carry fees. They can be used for any grooming service or add-on and can’t be exchanged for cash.
